1942 HARLEY DAVIDSON WLA TYPE 3

This nut and bolt correct restoration was recently restored by David Sarafan using many original items such as a rebuilt speedometer, M88 Linkert carburetor, 32E generator, front and rear crash bar, black out lights, checked and straightened frame forks and the list goes on. The motor underwent a full and thorough rebuild including new pistons, valves, con rods, bearings, the works! The correct “first gear forward” three speed transmission has also been fully rebuilt with new bearings, bushings and seals. Both front and rear 18” wheels were rebuilt with new hub bearings, new parkerized, laced and trued spokes and a new set of Coker tires. The smooth brown leather Thompson machine gun scabbard, correct saddle bags, six rivet solo seat, canvas windscreen and magazine holder round this beauty out along with new painted on stars just added to the gas tanks. All reproduction parts are made in the USA and Europe to insure a top quality job. Finding such a fine example of the WLA “Liberator” with so many original parts is rare and, with the addition of it being a “Sarafan” restoration, makes this a great addition to any collection or for the first time enthusiast. Selling with a clear title (more details and information upon request).
