1977 HARLEY DAVIDSON FLH
In 1977, the Harley Davidson Electra Glide was dubbed “The King of the Highway”. It was hands down the biggest motorcycle on the road, sporting a 1200cc V-Twin engine and was the best suited cruiser for long distance riding. This old girl is a 45 year old survivor that still sports the original metallic brown livery as well as the original saddle bags and front fairing. The exhaust and carburetor have been swapped out for a set of straight pipes and an S&S Super carb and air cleaner. It also appears that the motor has undergone some work throughout the years, as the case numbers are not matching to the frame, and there are some indications that there were some aluminum weld repairs next to the number boss. The motorcycle was maintained at “The Shop” in Montalvo, CA, and is currently titled and registered in the state of California. Being that this motorcycle has not been started in over a year, it will need a service and inspection before it is ready for the road.
