SELLING WITH RESERVE

In 1942, the USA had just entered World War II and all factory production throughout the country was tooling up for the war effort. Harley Davidson won the defense contract to provide motorcycles for American troops as well as for our Canadian friends to the north. This brought all civilian production to a  grinding halt and only 799 FL models were produced for the 1942 model year. This 74ci classic is one of those rare survivors that managed to get passed over during the scrap drives of the day and has managed to weather the 70 plus years since. This old girl still looks great too. She was last freshened up back in 1987 and, since that time, has only logged 767 miles on the clock. The OEM Goodyear tires are still looking good as well. The new owner of this bike will also be able to brag that it has all the proper date codes throughout and sports all original components, including the fenders and gas tanks. If you are looking for a truly solid classic without any aftermarket items, this is a fine example with no excuses!  Selling with a clear title.
