2001 HARLEY DAVIDSON SPRINGER SOFTAIL
Ever since Willy G. Davidson produced the very first “factory custom” XLCR Cafe Racer in 1977, the factory has been pumping out their special editions and have steadily offered an array of different models to beef up sales. The “Springer Softail” model is a perfect example of the factories attempt to bring back some of the older features that their followers have always loved to see and ride. The springer front forks for the Big Twins ended in 1948 with the very first year of the Panhead model. The début of the Springer Softail in 1988 was a big hit until the factory ended production of the model in 2003. This original paint and unmolested motorcycle is a good runner and has been regularly maintained by “The Shop” in Montalvo, CA. There are some typical cosmetic issues that any 21 year old motorcycle would have sustained throughout its time on the road, i.e. some chips and minor dents on the fenders and tank. The original leather seat and saddlebags are in very nice condition. Currently registered and selling with a clear CA title.
