1915 INDIAN V-TWIN WITH SIDECAR

After a 17 year expert restoration process on a very complete and original motorcycle (AMCA score of 98.57 in 2001 by AMCA Judge Peter Gagan), this very rare Indian is second to none. Back in the early 80’s, master machinist Norm Brown took on the task of resurrecting this very beautiful example of Indian’s 61ci “Big Twin” model. Along with his son Ray, they went over this motorcycle on every level, even to the point of turning out new stainless steel nuts and bolts to replace the worn out hardware that was past the point of resurrection. Along with a copy of the AMCA judging form, there is an entire photo file of the restoration from start to finish including photos of the motorcycle as purchased, the complete tear down frame repair, fabrication of the new sidecar sheet metal and the entire reassembly process. Bottom line is, if a Swiss watch was built on two wheels, this motorcycle would fit that bill! This beautiful combination is ready for a new adventure, be it a sunny weekend afternoon drive or on static display in a prestigious collection or museum. Selling with a clear California title.
