1969 BSA Firebird Scrambler (SELLING WITH NO RESERVE)

BSA imported their A65FS Firebird Scrambler from 1968 thru 1971.  This model had a 650cc parallel-twin street scrambler with double-leading-shoe front brake, twin 32mm Amal Concentric carbs, 3-gallon fiberglass tank and a factory-claimed 55 horsepower at 6,800 rpm. Typically sporting the “high pipe” configuration, noted British bike builder Burt Barrett wanted to adapt a set of Buco saddlebags on this rider, so during the full restoration, Burt added the more typical road going exhaust to accommodate the bags. The motorcycle engine has been completely rebuilt with a dynamically balanced engine, new Amal carburetors and ignition coils, rebuilt speedo and tach and new wiring harness and Norton style spin on oil filter. This motorcycle has been on static display for the past few years and will need to be serviced prior to operation. Selling with a clear title and NO RESERVE!
