The R 90/6 model was the first motorcycle in the world equipped with H4 light as standard, which in conjunction with the large 200 mm round headlight, resulted in excellent light output. The 1973 BMW R 90/6 featured more success shown by the sales numbers, which were around 3,600 units more than the sportier model. The R 90/6 motorcycle had at its core an 898cc air-cooled, four-stroke, two-cylinder boxer engine that provided an output power of 60 hp at 6,500 rpm and a maximum top speed of 115 mph. This very nice example has been personalized in the “Cafe” style with a very nice fiberglass seat section, OHLINS rear shock absorbers and lowered handlebars. This motorcycle has been on static display and will need a full service prior to operation. Selling with California title and NO RESERVE.
